La primera vez que realices esta práctica, hazla de pie frente a un espejo para que puedas verificar la posición de tus manos y cuerpo. Toward the end of the practice, when I heard “Envision the scintillating particles of prana shakti showering down upon your being,” I saw and felt tiny red sparkles, like those that rise up from a fire. I felt the shakti vibrating strongly from my feet to the crown of my head. It was so powerful, I had to squat down on the floor. I surrendered to what was happening and eventually was drawn into meditation.
When I came out of meditation, I was fresh and light! What a powerful experience! I can’t even begin to thank Gurumayi for such a gift!

As I listened to “Gurumayi’s Guidance,” at first I doubted my ability to follow the instructions, but I persisted. Finally, when I heard “Your heart is unencumbered,” I felt light, even though I did not know exactly what “unencumbered” meant—I had to look it up in the dictionary. And indeed, I realized that the burdens weighing on my heart had been lifted!

I am newly divorced and still have much to do to create my new life. This mudra is going to be a daily practice for me. I feel empowered, kind, calm and with all my energies balanced. When I finished listening to the audio version and heard Gurumayi’s words,"You are good to go," I felt them in the core of my being. I now know I can create this new chapter in my life— with Gurumayi’s shakti permeating my being.

Each one of them embraced me in their own way—Baba smiling and laughing and giving me a loving pat on the back, Bade Baba simply laughing, laughing, laughing, and Gurumayi laughing and holding my hands as we twirled around together. We were all ecstatic. They were right there in my heart.
Tears of love came to my eyes. The Guru’s grace is always present, even when I feel I am not doing a good job.

This timely exercise has worked magic on me. After practicing it, I immediately feel the tension subsiding as the stiffness and pain disappear, my mind relaxes, and the breath eases. I am able to pause and feel refreshed again, and my “confidence, conviction, and clarity” return.

I was amazed at the power that just ten minutes of practicing the ganesha mudra, raising my arms, and stamping my feet had on me. The heat in my palms was tremendous and the blessed energy flowing through and down my body was unexpectedly strong. The feeling of strength, of being grounded in my own Self, now accompanies me during the day, allowing me to face different situations with harmony.

I then decided to read “Gurumayi’s Guidance” first to prepare for it before I would actually do it. Immediately after I read “Assurance in Being,” my inner state shifted. I took a shower, organized my working area, and felt upbeat and confident that I could do the work. I was surprised by the way Gurumayi’s words had such an immediate effect on me. Needless to say, I became eager to listen to the recording and follow Gurumayi’s instructions. The task I had to complete turned out to be a great success, and everything worked out really well. I feel so blessed and protected. I know I am not alone.

For the last few months I have been having pain in my shoulder. Doing this ganesha mudra for a few rounds released the tension in my shoulder. My shoulders are now relieved of their pain and they feel relaxed. I could visualize the energy in the form of sparkling stardust pouring over my body, and I could feel the energy traveling from my head to my toes.

As my heart felt delight and a gentle sweetness sweep into it, I stayed near it yet separate from it. I am left feeling bathed in the energy that is me, but which is not emotion or thought.
