What a beautiful prayer this is! It is so comforting to me and also so uplifting, in praying “May all people be happy.” As I notice the word all, my heart sings. No one—no matter what their country, color, status, belief system, or age might be—is left out. That makes my soul soar and I long for this to be true.

The other word that stands out to me is happy. Not the happiness of receiving presents or getting one’s way or wish, or anything else short-lived—but the true contentment of a soul knowing the Self and connected to it within in a way that is real and true.

I truly wish this for everyone.

What a beautiful prayer! When I sit to meditate, I like to “make…prayers,” as Gurumayi’s Message for 2022 says, and I often can’t find the words to express my feelings. This beautiful prayer, sung so gently yet ecstatically by the musicians in Gurudev Siddha Peeth, says everything that is in my heart!
