This Visual Prayer resonated for me in two ways. At first, I saw the infinite raindrops as the many and diverse souls and creatures residing within Australia and abroad. It was almost as if the raindrops themselves had joined together to offer prayers to the heavens. In turn, I experienced the raindrops as Mother Earth’s compassion manifested, answering these prayers, healing and revitalizing the land.

I am currently a student at Gurudev Siddha Peeth, but I have been concerned about the state of the fires since I left my homeland. Their enormity is hard to comprehend.

When I visited the Siddha Yoga path website, the rain in the “Visual Prayer for Australia” brought me immediate comfort. When I listened to Gurumayi chanting, my heart felt her compassion, and I knew that the best thing I could do was to offer my prayers and practices from this sacred place—Gurudev Siddha Peeth.

Thank you, Gurumayi, for your amazing love, and for showing us how to be at this time.

This “visual prayer,” with that familiar sweet sound of rain, brought tears to my eyes while my heart soared for Australia. My prayer is for this rain to arrive at the burning areas of beautiful Australia. May the people and wildlife in Australia be calmed, relieved, and nurtured by this blessing.

This divine visual and aural prayer of the soothing, soft rain felt like nectarean honey flowing through me. This has impressed on me that I will never take rain for granted ever again. Its healing power has shown itself to be calming nectar.

Thank you, Gurumayi, for your loving kindness that has again soothed my soul.

This is a beautiful prayer. Its powerful visualization and sounds directed my blessings totally to Australians and to the heavens to pour down rain. It suddenly gave me the insight into the importance of giving our prayers a visual form, and mobilizing color, sound, and images to strengthen the force and meaning of our prayers.

I prayed and prayed to the heavens, knowing this soft rain could help extinguish the fires. Hearing the gentle rain, I thought of God and then proceeded to offer a recitation of Shri Guru Gita for all the inhabitants of Australia affected by the fires.
