Offering seva is my favorite practice. Viewing this gallery inspires me to offer seva more and more and to offer all my work in daily life with full dedication and gratitude.

This gallery gives me a sense of positivity. Seeing everyone offering seva with full enthusiasm is amazing! Whenever I am feeling low, I have a quick look at the images in this gallery and feel re-energized. I then start my work again with renewed joy.

Thank you, Gurumayi, for this gallery. Each time I see it, I am inspired to  work with full dedication.

The images of the sevites cleaning with such intention and attention fill my heart. It moves me to see them taking care of Shree Muktananda Ashram with so much love.

    New York, USA

Over years of visiting the Siddha Yoga path website on a regular basis, I have noticed that each click opens a door to a facet of Gurumayi’s grace, knowledge, and wisdom and has the potential to uplift my experience of day-to-day life.

I especially love when I catch a new glimpse into the teachings on the sites that are refreshed monthly, such as Yoga—Skill in Action. From the images in this month’s gallery, I see that seva takes so many forms: singing, walking, reading, cleaning, meeting, taking pictures. This reminds me that nearly any activity can become seva, if I approach it as such.

I love looking at this gallery, seeing the expressions on people’s faces—listening, paying attention. I can see the focus and the love, all encapsulated in one moment. The images are so inspiring and refresh my longing for the practice of seva.

    New York, USA

Lord Shiva’s dance as Nataraj feels like a perfect beginning and blessing for this gallery. In each photo the people seem to have a quality of inner fullness. I love the way people are looking at each other—with respect, quiet joy, and openness.

Whether they are cleaning, or walking, or admiring lovingly rendered works of art, their movements seem to flow from a place of remembrance and Self-awareness.

Each photo, for me, is Lord Shiva’s dance captured mid-gesture. I am inspired to remember this as I move through my days. The movements of my life, too, can be the sacred dance of Nataraj.
